Probably the most common challenge when applying your DIY eyelash extensions, especially at the beginning: glue where it doesn't belong.
Be it that you have leftover eyelash glue on your APPLICATOR , on the tweezers or on your fingers. The eyelash segment will definitely find its way there and stick to the adhesive residue - instead of under your eyelashes as intended. Murphy's Law.
That's why it's a good idea to always have a cotton swab or a cotton pad that is soaked in micellar water beforehand. This way, if the worst comes to the worst, you have help immediately at hand.
Another phenomenon that often occurs: When you press the DIY eyelash extensions together with your own eyelashes at the end of application , the APPLICATOR gets stuck on the eyelashes . We want to use the APPLICATOR relatively close to the lash line to make sure that everything stays in place. And this is also the spot where we applied the eyelash glue.
What do we do about it? If you have a SEALER , you can simply moisten the inside of the applicator with the SEALER 's sponge. So you've finished sealing the eyelashes right away!
If you don't have a SEALER , simply use a damp cotton swab instead and use it to moisten the inside. Some customers also report dipping the APPLICATOR in a glass of water before squeezing their lashes. Whatever works for you! Do you have an easier trick? Please give it to me!
